45 minutes cardio was a piece of cake. Tonight is weight lifting, first time after 3 weeks. I will do lower body.
I started to take protein again and my extra supplements like multivitamins
Way to go! My hat is off to you for going 45 minutes. I am not a fan of long cardio sessions since I lack the self-motivation. So last year I committed to training for a half-marathon and paid the entry fee early to keep me motivated.
I saw your HIIT post and have found more benefit from HIIT like Tabata Intervals. Long cardio sessions make sure the cell’s mitochondria are efficient fat burners, but HIIT really revs up the metabolism. Tabata Intervals are intense 4 minute segments of cardio (just google tabata intervals for different exercises combinations). Combine 4 different exercises with 1 minute rest periods and you will have an awesome workout in 20 minutes.
LOVE what you are doing here! VERY inspiring! Keep it up!
